* My music & STEVE'S JUKEBOX *
The Music I Have been recently involved with:
Thelmas Thighs is the band I currently record with. We built our own
studio at pete's place where we indulge our passion for making music.
Although at this time we are in the process of rebuilding the studio in
another location. We have currently an album out called SPLAT! and are
almost finished with the second (untitled).
There are some earlier recordings which I am going to try to locate to put
on the site recorded with Connie Jewison at Hunters Lair Stuidios.
We are also in the proicess of putting down a live recording of The Harry
Coffey Band. I will keep you informed about that too.

Hunters Lair Studios
This was a period of great creative discovery. We used to meet on
a Tuesday night every week to write a song and record it and finish
it the same night. This is quite obvious in the recording quality and
lack of mixing skills. All were recorded on a basic 4 track machine
with a drum machine(Alesis, which i still have one of). The song
writing was great fun and Connie still loves all this music we
created. I reserve judgement.
Needless to say most of this was just live messin with a little
structure thrown in.
Connies sister Lee sang sometimes and played a little
keyboards.Even Sue his wife sang on a song for fun. I will say that
this period was a confusing one for me on guitar as i played
blues, country, metal and classic rock all at the same time as you
can tell if you listen to the songs we created.
You always think you can write a song as good as anyone untill
you try and things then get interesting as they never turn out as you
intended originally. This is not good but it was great at the time.....
