Kerry has informed me that as martial arts played such a large part in my past life that I must share some of it with you...
I have been involved with the Martial Arts in one way or another since 1978. I currently am in retirement. Having spent most of my life fighting and teaching others how to fight and survive in an unhealthy predicament. The philosophical side was all i was interested in towards the end of my career as a martial artist.
I cannot complain as i have earned my living as a martial artist for some years, and it has taken me round the world to meet interesting people and stars of the genre. Including the film star Bill Wallace who was the undefeated world kick boxing champion with the fastest legs in the world, clocked in at over 60 miles an hour, now that was a hard training session. But it greatly bores me now so i am retired and have closed my schools and no longer teach.
For those of you Interested I am a 5th Degree Black belt in TaeKwon-Do (master Instructor status) and a Third Degree Black belt in Kick boxing (BMAA Freestyle).
There are many things I could tell you about my martial arts such as titles and all the rest of it but it would probably bore you as much as me. The thing I am most proud of is my family who all became Black belts and champions in their own right including one world title for Nathan. Who is the only one left practising martial arts.
Here are some memories Ive dug out for you to view.
